Dönner Sheep

Stocky sheep whose wool is as strong as studded leather. When threatened, the sheep retreat into the protection of their own fur, much like a turtle would. Because they tend to roam the countryside, this defense mechanism makes them roll downhill with increasing speed, sometimes damaging property or injuring individuals. Shepherding this species is notoriously difficult, but their wool is very valuable for its protective properties. The sheep are also utilized as field maintenance for their voracious grazing behavior and love for eating insects.
