Bulbo Octopus

Bulbos, or the incorrect common name balloon squid, are a species of amphibious cephalopods that live in shallow seawater. Bulbos inflate themselves with enough air to fly up to 60 feet to search for small game on land. They drop from the sky with deadly accuracy and then drag their victims back to sea using their flexible tentacles. Bulbos generally steer clear of humanoids, but when provoked they tend to employ hit and run tactics, striking with much ferocity before sprinting back to the water.

There are a handful of bulbo breeding farms, where they are harvested for their flesh. They can also be used by experts to exterminate vermin. In this case, they are transported via an aquarium-like wagon and their handler keeps them leashed while they inflate.
